Couch Repair Project
The lever system in the middle section of the couch is broken.
The couch originally had a rip cord system that cut through its own cord over time.
Studying the Mechanism
It takes quite a bit of force to activate the lever.
Instead of pulling the bottom of the lever back, I am targeting the pin at the top and pushing downward.
The printed piece slips along the pin as force is applied.
To counteract the slipping I devised a slot to catch on the top of the pin.
